The lamp uses ultraviolet light to attract mosquitoes and other flying insects. Depending on the model, insects are eliminated by a high-voltage electric grid or captured by a powerful suction fan.
No. Our mosquito killer lamps provide chemical-free mosquito control without sprays, fumes or unpleasant odors.
The electric grid is protected by an outer safety housing to help prevent accidental contact. However, the lamp should still be placed where children and pets cannot touch or knock it over.
We offer separate models for indoor and outdoor use. Outdoor models feature rain-resistant or waterproof construction, while indoor models are designed for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and other enclosed spaces. Please check the specifications of each model before use.
Place it in a dark or low-light area where mosquitoes are active. Keep it away from strong lights, doors, fans and air-conditioning outlets. For better performance, position it away from people so mosquitoes are attracted toward the lamp.
For best results, turn the lamp on before mosquitoes become active, especially in the evening. Indoor models can be operated several hours before bedtime, while outdoor models may be used continuously according to their battery capacity and power source.
The lamp is mainly designed to attract mosquitoes and may also attract flies, moths, gnats and other light-sensitive flying insects. Results may vary depending on the environment and insect species.
Switch off the lamp and disconnect it from the power supply before cleaning. Use the supplied cleaning brush or a soft dry brush to remove insects. Some models can also be rinsed with water. Please refer to the instruction manual for detailed cleaning methods and safety precautions.
Electric-grid models operate quietly, with only a brief sound when an insect contacts the grid. Fan-powered models produce a low operating sound similar to a small fan.
